US Government Deadly Attacks At Home and Abroad
In the US invasion of Venezuela, a hundred people were killed. One goal was to kidnap that country’s President, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores. The main goal is to control Venezuela’s oil reserves.
This military offensive against another country is against international law and the US Constitution.
US attacks against immigrants also lead to the federal government invading cities and states across the country. As we see, these ICE invasions have deadly results. The ICE agent’s shooting of Minneapolis resident Renee Nicole Good in the face at point-blank range is not the only deadly force incident by ICE. Several reports say ICE agents have killed at least 9 people from 2025 until now. Many more immigrants themselves have died while in ICE custody. In 2025, 32 people were reported to have died while in custody. Both these deadly invasions are two sides of the same coin – government repression for their own profits!
How Are Our Communities Impacted?
Both the invasion of Venezuela and the sending of ICE agents into communities have cost US workers billions of dollars. Trump gave a record $170 billion to ICE and Border Patrol. Running another foreign country will cost increasing amounts of money in military spending and probably more lives.
In 2025, close to 350,000 jobs were lost in the federal government and manufacturing sectors of the US economy. Workers and their communities are suffering. Yet the price of US immigration policies in both cost of living and lives disrupted are projected to increase substantially. One estimate predicts that costs
to working families in the US will rise as much as “$2,150 for goods and services each year by the end of 2028” due to immigration policies.
The untold costs in human suffering are immeasurable both at home and abroad.
Fear, instability, closed schools, sudden poverty, racism, sexism, and division are costs too high to pay. They hurt us all.

assemblies. Talk to your co-workers and neighbors about voicing opposition to US
invasion policies at home and abroad!
