May & June: Complete the Southern Workers’ Program/Begin Workplace contacting

  • Workplace Flyer 1 – our voice, why we need a program
  • Workplace Flyer 2 – draft program with QR code, ask for responses
  • SWA CC adopts final program
  • Establish or expand leaflet brigades/confirm leafletting targets
  • Create a SWA campaign web site/FB page
  • First monthly campaign webinar/panel, south-wide, mid-June
  • Goal: 25 important workplaces leafletted at least twice (southwide)

July & August: Spread the Program/Deepen workplace activist involvement

  • Recruit delegations to visit with candidates and allies
  • Program to all candidates, all parties, ask for response
  • Program to allies, ask for endorsement of program
  • Workplace Flyer 3 – photo report of actions so far
  • Workplace Flyer 4 – photo report of actions and responses
  • Monthly campaign webinars, south-wide, mid-month
  • Goal: Same 25 workplaces leafletted at least twice
  • Goal: For each Assembly locale – 6 federal, state or local candidates visited
  • Goal: For each Assembly locale – 3 allies endorse program

September & October: Public Events

  • Workplace Flyer 5 – Vote for those who will vote for us, scorecard of all responses positive and negative
  • Workplace Flyer 6 – photo report of public actions
  • Public speak-outs, press conferences, town halls etc
  • Monthly campaign webinars, south-wide, mid-month
  • Goal: Same 25 workplaces leafletted prior to elections
  • Goal: For each Assembly locale – 1 public action

November: Post-election assessment/next steps in 2023
